BOLD Annual Conference & Expo
LeadingAge California’s Annual Conference was designed to meet the needs of the full continuum of senior living and care providers – including affordable housing, life plan communities, assisted living, skilled nursing, home and community-based care, and hospice. EMERGE Leadership Development Program
LeadingAge California developed a leadership program designed to support and shape tomorrow’s leaders. Since 2010, EMERGE has been a catalyst for individuals seeking to transform their leadership skills to successfully lead highly engaged and innovative organizations. EMERGE is a year-long program available to any LeadingAge California Member, irrespective of position or work experience. It is far more important for candidates to demonstrate potential within their organizations and the field of older adult services than it is for them to carry specific job titles. RISE Policy Summit
LeadingAge California is the champion for creating policy change in Sacramento to better serve older Californians. Known as the representative of the full continuum of care, housing and services, LeadingAge California works every day to increase the visibility of important issues, improve the regulatory climate, and mold legislative proposals to advance the senior living and care environment. Senior Housing Now
For the last decade, LeadingAge California has organized an Annual Affordable Senior Housing Resident Advocacy Day (renamed Senior Housing Now) that gives residents of affordable senior housing an opportunity to travel to the Capitol and share their stories with state legislators about how affordable housing has impacted their lives. Senior Health Policy Forum
Together, On Lok and the Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI), the Bay Area PACE organizations have convened the Bay Area Senior Health Policy Forum. This biennial event brings together aging advocates, providers, policymakers, seniors and other stakeholders to inform policy and support the creation of a healthy environment for aging in the Bay Area.
