Position for Innovation and Diversification

LeadingAge California and its members will remain at the forefront of innovation and diversification in the field and will have opportunities to integrate new organizational concepts, design thinking, new service delivery and staffing models, and re-imagine the services our members provide to help assure ongoing success and sustainability.

LeadingAge California has a long history of innovation and, by its representation and understanding of the full continuum of housing, care and services for older adults, a long history of diversifying and strengthening opportunities for members. Founding AgeTech California in 2010, launching the Innovation Showcase, its Workforce Situation Room, and its Age On. Rage On. Campaign in 2019, and leveraging its ability to apply for and achieve over $10M in CMMS CMP grants and over $25M from HCAI for The Gateway-In Project©, launching a marketing partnership with Align Senior Care for a tailored managed care program in life plan communities, creating the California Integrated Care at Home for affordable housing as a population health initiative, and partnering to sustain The Lighthouse Project. Combined these initiatives demonstrate a commitment to innovate and identify avenues for diversification at all levels of the Association and for our members.
