Overview
COVID-19 has made clear what you have known all along — home health services are an essential component of the care continuum serving as a bridge after acute care as well as a preventive option to relying on hospital services. Supporting people at home with skilled care and therapy has never been more critical than during this pandemic. Home health agencies have risen to COVID-19’s challenges to offer quality care, support to patients and families, and to work with their communities to overcome emergent challenges. At LeadingAge California and LeadingAge, we understand these critical connections and weave them into all facets of our work.
For 60 years, our mission has been to make America a better place to grow old, and we believe our members — providers of home health and home care services — are the ones to make this happen.
