Overview

Nearly every nonprofit Life Plan Community in the state is a member of LeadingAge California. LeadingAge California and LeadingAge create ways to share best practices between different services and supports — an ideal environment for Life Plan Communities. LeadingAge has created financing models and grant programs for innovative communities whose great ideas could improve the lives of older adults across the country. Understanding the value Life Plan Communities bring to their community, LeadingAge and LeadingAge California have taken the lead in helping members tell their social accountability story and protect their federal tax-exempt status.

• Access the Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST) resources on technologies for Life Plan Community settings including technology selection tools and the tracking of technology spending and adoption.
• Receive information, education, and tools providers need to participate in managed care, integrated service delivery, and alternative payment models through the Center for Managed Care Solutions and Innovations.
• Gain resources to inspire social accountability throughout your organization.
• Access workforce resources for older adult services which contain promising practices, ideas for key partnerships, tools to calculate turnover, fact sheets, and other relevant information in the Center for Workforce Solutions.
